Super Pickle Zine Begins

Super Pickle Zine is a labor of love created by Super Pickle Art Studios. The zine contains prints of traditional artworks like pencil sketches and ink drawings, photos, media reviews like books and movies, writing, mini-comics, and more depending on the issue and the theme. The zine is created without the use of any generative AI.

The work is created using hand drawn images, digital text, and photos. It is printed digitally and then cut and assembled by hand by one person.

The zine cover is 4.25 x 5.5 inches and the pages are little smaller than that.

Super Pickle Zine Begins is the first edition of S.P.Z. and contains:

• 16 pages (8 double-sided) black and white
• an introduction to zines
• multiple pencil and ink drawings
• photos, collages
• a cut-out table topper that you can cut-out and set on your desk or table at home
• a movie review of Final Destination Bloodlines
• a mini-comic called "The Cat Came Back" Part 1
• An "in-progress" written review of House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski, On Cinema at the Cinema series, and No Man's Sky videogame
• the living mission statement for the zine
• probably something I didn't mention

CUSTOMIZATION:

If you choose the CUSTOMIZATION option, I will color one page of your Zine by hand. I will also add black and white illustrations to another page. This creates a unique piece of art that only you own.

Please keep in mind that the zine is assembled by hand and thus has imperfections which reflect its artesanal value and human-sourced creation.

All content in the Zine is PG-13 or less except for one F-Bomb on the cut-out activity.
